OKLAHOMA CITY— (Sept. 20, 2019)— Paycom Software, Inc. (“Paycom”) (NYSE: PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, kicked off National Payroll Week with medieval-themed employee competitions, activities and a giving-drive benefiting the Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma. This is the third year Paycom employees have used the national holiday celebrating payroll employees to give back to their local Goodwill. The week wrapped up with a giant celebration including local food trucks and a lively canoe race in Paycom headquarters’ pond.
“We go all out every year for National Payroll Week, and this year is no different,” said AJ Griffin, Director of Government and Community Affairs at Paycom. “It’s so encouraging to watch our employees experience Paycom’s culture and demonstrate our corporate values through team challenges and monetary donations to great causes like the Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma.”
National Payroll Week celebrates the hard work of the United States’ 150 million wage earners, plus the professionals who pay those employees with accuracy and on time. As one of the largest payroll providers in America, Paycom helps payroll professionals meet their stringent deadlines to supply employees with their paychecks.
Traditionally, National Payroll Week is celebrated during the week of Labor Day, but in an effort to maximize the week’s festivities, Paycom celebrates internally one week later with five days of activities.
