Paycom employees give $50,000 to support foster organizations

OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 1, 2021) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, donated $25,000 to The National Foster Parent Association to help provide foster families opportunities for advocacy, networking and education. The software company also made a $25,000 donation to Promise House, which will go toward providing emergency shelter, counseling, educational support, outreach services and more.

“These organizations are making an impact on thousands of families,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs. “Whether it’s providing basic needs like food and shelter or advocating for families on a local and national level, our employees are proud to support their initiatives.”

The National Foster Parent Association (NFPA) is a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports foster families through a variety of services, including networking, education and advocacy.

“The work of supporting foster caregivers and the children and families they serve requires constant connections with our constituents to better learn their needs and seek avenues to improve the quality and quantity of support over time,” said Irene Clements, executive director at NFPA.  “This support from Paycom and their employees will ensure our vital work continues.”

Since 1984, Promise House has had an open door to youth in crisis across North Texas. In 2021, 387 youth spent 15,183 nights at Promise House. In addition, Promise House served more than 40,000 meals to hungry youths and facilitated more than 2,154 hours of trauma-informed counseling sessions.

“This donation demonstrates Paycom’s commitment to serving the community, and I couldn’t be more excited to have them join in the fight to end youth homelessness,” said Charles Wolford, CEO at Promise House. “On behalf of everyone at Promise House, thank you for this contribution, which will allow us to continue providing life-changing services to youth in crisis.”

The donations come as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, in which employees have the opportunity to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
