Paycom’s Sales Force Raises $61,000 for The Shelter for Abused Women & Children

Members of the sales team for Paycom Software, Inc. (“Paycom”) (NYSE: PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, donated $61,000 to support The Shelter for Abused Women & Children of Collier County, Florida.

“It was our honor to support The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, a nonprofit emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking,” said Paycom’s chief sales officer, Jeff York. “I’m proud of our sales team who donated toward a worthy mission that helps the community that hosted our recent President’s Club event.”

The charity received the donation through the sales team’s annual giving program, President’s Club Gives.

“Paycom’s President’s Club Gives program members’ efforts to foster a culture that looks beyond corporate walls to invest in the communities they serve should be an example for businesses everywhere,” said Linda Oberhouse, chief executive officer of the Shelter for Abused Women & Children.

This year’s donation exceeded 2017’s amount, which was gifted to United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona.

Founded in 2011, the President’s Club Gives program is how Paycom’s top sales representatives support the communities that host the corporation’s annual President’s Club event. Paycom sales representatives earn a spot at President’s Club based on their professional accomplishments from the previous year. President’s Club is an opportunity for Paycom to honor the elite for their successes, while the President’s Club Gives program is a way to share the rewards of that success with those who need it most.

The $61,000 donation from Paycom will help address a growing need for services in Immokalee, Florida, where a second facility, The Shelly Stayer Shelter, will be built to accommodate the long-term therapeutic needs of victims of human trafficking, shelter victims of domestic violence and house members of the current Immokalee outreach program. Shelly Stayer provided the lead gift to establish this 15,000-square-foot, 32-bed shelter.

Oklahoma City-based Paycom is known for its philanthropic efforts. Last year, Paycom presented The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma with a record-breaking gift of $75,000. In addition, during June’s National Customer Service Week celebration at Paycom, employees donated $10,000 to The Anna’s House Foundation; during September’s National Payroll Week festivities, employees donated 4,873.5 pounds of gently used clothing to Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma; and for November’s Bedlam for Babies campaign, employees contributed 3,994 pounds of necessities like food, diapers and formula to Infant Crisis Services.
