Paycom Donates More Than 2,000 Pounds to Infant Crisis Services

OKLAHOMA CITY – Paycom Software Inc.’s employees donated 2,115 pounds of diapers, wipes, toys and clothes to Infant Crisis Services (ICS) during the nonprofit’s annual Bedlam for Babies drive. Paycom’s 1-ton gift to ICS is currently the largest in-kind donation from a corporation, according to ICS.

“Year after year, Paycom has been our largest contributor to our Bedlam for Babies in-kind drive,” said Miki Farris, founder and executive director of ICS. “We’re incredibly grateful for their generosity and for Paycom’s continued support of the babies and toddlers we serve.”

Paycom’s fourth annual Bedlam for Babies drive ran internally for 30 days, leading up to Dec. 3’s much-anticipated University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University Bedlam battle. Paycom’s employees competed against each other to discover which “team” could donate the most funds and basic necessities for Oklahoma babies and toddlers.

Much like OU’s 38-20 Bedlam win over OSU last weekend, Paycom’s OU team beat OSU team by a lead of 22 pounds of supplies.

According to Stacey Pezold, Paycom’s chief operating officer, no matter the final outcome, children benefit from Paycom’s generous and competitive spirit. “We love our employees’ enthusiasm, passion and loyalty to their favorite teams,” said Pezold. “Regardless of who won our Bedlam challenge, ultimately, the babies and toddlers are the biggest winners.”

Paycom will continue to give back to the community on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 when the software company will join forces with the Salvation Army and KFOR-TV Channel 4 for the fourth annual Paycom HoliDazzle coat drive, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Science Museum Oklahoma. The coat drive’s activities include complimentary pictures with Santa and hot cocoa from the Crepe Brewers food truck. For each new or gently used coat donation, participants will receive $5-off Saturday’s admission to Science Museum Oklahoma.
