Who We Are: Our 5 Core Values

Jennifer Kraszewski | February 6, 2024

Every single day, Paycom pursues a mission of empowering employees with their own data and simplifying life for HR and payroll professionals. But did you know that only 23% of U.S. employees strongly agree that they can apply their company’s values to their work?

Paycom stands apart from the rest because we understand that our success is a direct result of living our values. It’s how we’ve created 25 years of innovation and an award-winning environment, and it’s the model we intend to follow as we head boldly into the future.

We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce Paycom’s values and show you how we live those values every day.

We innovate.

Innovation has been at the heart of Paycom from its very inception, as we were one of the first companies to help businesses handle payroll online.

Employees throughout Paycom work each day to not only deliver the very best HR and payroll tech to our clients, but challenge the status quo and find solutions where others fail to look.

Powering this innovation is a team of talented, driven professionals like Vamsi, a software developer manager. Not only have professionals like Vamsi been at the heart of transforming HR tech, they’ve embraced that spirit of innovation in their own lives by building one-of-a-kind careers at Paycom!

We win.

It doesn’t matter if the victories are small or industry-shaking; we give every challenge our full attention and celebrate our wins together as a team. We never miss an opportunity to recognize those achievements that help Paycom become the industry powerhouse that it is today.

We love cheering on our employees when they win, too. Take Jenna, for example. She started at Paycom as a college intern and is now an executive sales rep. She’s closed deals, set records, attended Paycom’s prestigious President’s Club and was even able to buy her first house at the age of 24!

We care.

Paycom is dedicated to the professional success of our employees, but we also care about the wellness they experience as people. From on-site well-being advisors to the unique perks and benefits we offer our workforce, caring for the holistic wellness of our employees is something we’re passionate about.

A few more ways we’re able to translate that caring into action include:

We serve.

Whether we’re serving an external client or a colleague in another department, we bring an attitude of service to everything we do. But service isn’t simply a professional pursuit. We also serve the communities in which we live and work.

One way we serve our communities is by hosting an annual philanthropy fair where we connect volunteer-minded employees with area nonprofits.

But that service isn’t limited to volunteering. Paycom’s employee giving program makes it easy for our employees to financially support the organizations driving meaningful change in our communities. Some of the recent recipients of our giving efforts include The Anna’s House Foundation, The Salvation Army and many more!

We believe.

Paycom believes in our people and our technology. We believe in our ability to do great things and overcome any obstacle. You can see this at work every day in the way our employees take on new challenges at work and in their careers.

We believe that we can change the world and there’s nothing we can’t achieve.
