Yes, clients can set up PAFs to assign multiple individuals to the approval workflow. This way, PAFs are customizable to the approval structure of the company, department, team or project.

With Paycom’s PAF software, users can request changes in an employee’s:

  • compensation, including step increases and market adjustments
  • job, including a promotion, demotion or transfer
  • status, including termination, rehiring or a shift to part time

After a PAF’s final approval, changes automatically populate throughout our software on the effective date. Because Paycom is built as a single application with one database, that information never requires reentry, thereby reducing the chance for manual input errors.

Yes, desktop users of our PAF software can request a simultaneous change for multiple employees through “batch action” functionality. This makes it easier to apply similar revisions — such as supervisor change or location transfer — to a group. All batch-action PAF transactions must use the same templates.
