Paycom and its Employees Donate $10,000 to Anna’s House Foundation
OKLAHOMA CITY – Today, employees of Paycom Software, Inc. (“Paycom”) (NYSE: PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented the Anna’s House Foundation with a $10,000 employee- and employer-combined donation. Employee funds were raised during Paycom’s Customer Service Week by purchasing ride wristbands and dunk tank throws for an on-site carnival. This year’s grand total surpassed the 2016 Paycom Customer Service Week gift to Anna’s House by more than $7,000.
“We celebrate this generous donation with Paycom because of the need to find safe, loving foster homes for vulnerable children,” said Katherine Craig, executive director of the Anna’s House Foundation. “Paycom’s gift will help realize the vision of the Anna’s House Luther Community, which is a neighborhood of large, single-family homes that allows countless foster siblings to remain together, who otherwise would have been separated. This Paycom employee gift is a true blessing and is undoubtedly strengthening our community and changing lives.”
The annual employee event ran internally from June 19 to June 23 and is designed to thank Paycom employees for their ongoing high level of customer service. Expressions of appreciation included Paycom apparel; morning cinnamon rolls and gourmet coffee; a surprise visit from two live camels on “Hump Day,” also known as Wednesday; and a lunchtime carnival on Friday, complete with fair rides, midway games and nine free food and dessert trucks.
“Between management’s popularity in the dunk tank and the wristband sales, our employees raised three times more money than last year for our friends at Anna’s House,” said Chad Raymond, Paycom’s vice president of HR. “More than 24 VPs, directors and managers volunteered their lunch break to the dunk tank, which generated a third of today’s gift, and I’m thrilled that Anna’s House can benefit from our employee’s competitive and generous spirit.”
