Paycom Employees Give $25,000 to Mental Wellness Organizations

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 20, 2021) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented a $15,000 check to Calm Waters to help fund its bereavement support programs for children and families. The software company also made a $10,000 donation to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to provide continued services for its HelpLine.

“We are so incredibly touched and grateful for the overwhelming support from Paycom’s employees and their commitment to invest in the mental health of young lives here in Oklahoma,” said Erin Engelke, executive director of Calm Waters. “On behalf of our staff, board and the thousands of people we help each year, we thank you for this donation.”

Calm Waters Center for Children and Families is a local organization dedicated to helping bereaved children and families in their grief journey after a death, divorce or other significant loss. This donation will help fund support groups, counseling and consultations, parenting seminars, workplace crisis services and trainings and other programs provided through Calm Waters.

“These two donations from our employees will help provide mental health resources, counseling, seminars and support groups to individuals and families in need locally and across the country,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. This contribution will expand its efforts for the NAMI HelpLine, which is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and assistance to people living with a mental health condition.

“We are grateful for the ongoing support of Paycom employees and for their generous donation,” said Katrina Gay, chief development officer of NAMI. “The funds help ensure that people in need have access to vital, no-cost information, support, and education to help them navigate the mental health journeys of themselves and their loved ones.”

The donations come as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, in which employees have the opportunity to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
