Paycom Employees Give $20,000 to LGBTQ+ Organizations

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 30, 2021) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented $20,000 to two LGBTQ+ nonprofits as part of a Pride Month giving initiative. Funds were raised by employees and matched by the company.

$10,000 went to Sisu Youth Services to help provide emergency shelter and care to at-risk youth with nowhere else to go. The software company also made a $10,000 donation to Free Mom Hugs to assist with their education, visibility and conversation initiatives surrounding the LGBTQ+ community.

“We are incredibly excited and grateful to partner with Paycom in supporting youth overcoming adversity in our community,” said Rachel Bradley, director of resource development at Sisu Youth Services. “This investment in Sisu Youth from Paycom and its employees will change the trajectory of young lives and, in turn, the face of homelessness in OKC for future generations.”

Sisu Youth Services provides overnight shelter, clothing, hot meals and case management to youth experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City. Sisu is a LGBTQ+ affirming, safe space for Oklahoma City’s most vulnerable populations.

“Our partnership with Paycom is so important to us because we know we are better together,” said Sara Cunningham, founder of Free Mom Hugs. “Through this generous donation, we are sending a message to employees, customers, parents and the LGBTQ+ community at large that we are building bridges to move the needle on understanding and acceptance.”

Free Mom Hugs is an Oklahoma City-based organization dedicated to empowering the world to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community through visibility, education and conversation. With chapters nation-wide, Free Mom Hugs is focused on creating a kinder, safer place full of dignity and respect for their LGBTQ+ family.

“Paycom is excited to stand with the LGBTQ+ community by supporting Free Mom Hugs and Sisu Youth Services in the work they are doing to bring awareness and education to our community,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs. “Our employees believe in building an inclusive community and felt it was important to support these initiatives.”

Paycom also invited representatives from each organization to join a special Better Conversations session, which provided a forum for Paycom employees to listen, learn and share with their colleagues who are a part of or support the LGBTQ+ community.
