OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 17 2020) – Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, announced that its founder and CEO, Chad Richison, has been named one of Glassdoor’s Highest Rated CEOs During the COVID-19 Crisis, based on employee submitted feedback.
Richison, who carries an all-time CEO approval rating of 95%, is the only Oklahoma-based company CEO to earn a spot on the list of the top 25 chief executives selected in the United States.
“I’m honored to be recognized, as this is a reflection of Paycom’s commitment to the health and safety of its employees,” said Richison. “Our team has been flexible and adaptable while continuing to provide world-class service to our clients, develop new technologies and add new clients, all while temporarily working from home.”
Glassdoor analyzed employee reviews between March 1 and July 31, 2020, to identify CEOs who have earned high praise from their employees in terms of leadership during the COVID-19 crisis. To be considered, employers had to have at least 1,000 employees at the end of this time period and CEOs had to receive at least 50 reviews across CEO approval and senior management ratings. To determine the ranking of the list, Glassdoor looked at the quality of reviews — specifically, the CEO approval rating, the senior management workplace factor rating and how employees talked about their leadership regarding COVID-19.
Common trends among the highest rated CEOs during COVID-19 include prioritizing work-life balance, taking care of employees’ overall well-being, offering flexible and/or remote working policies, establishing strong health benefits and maintaining frequent, clear communication.
Last year, Richison was named one of Glassdoor’s Top CEOs, while Paycom was the top-ranked Oklahoma organization among large-sized U.S. companies on Glassdoor’s 2019 Best Places to Work.
