LOS ANGELES (Oct. 5, 2023) — Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE: PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, recently donated $15,000 to The EXPO Center Clubhouse, an after-school STEM program geared toward underserved communities in Los Angeles. As the official HR tech partner of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), Paycom pledged $250 for every goal scored in the 2023 season as part of LAFC’s Goals for STEM initiative.
“We are proud to partner with LAFC, which shares our passion for supporting the next generation of STEM innovators,” said Lauren Ocepek, manager of sales strategy at Paycom. “They are the future of technology, and this donation will help create that safe place for them to learn and explore a future in STEM.”
The EXPO Center Clubhouse is a space dedicated to providing a creative, safe and free out-of-school learning environment where young people from underserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology. With Paycom’s donation, The EXPO Center Clubhouse can continue to expand its programming for young people across LA.
“LAFC is committed to being a force for good in the greater Los Angeles community, and Paycom is reflective of our values with their support,” said Larry Freedman, LAFC co-president and CBO. “Considering Paycom’s community programs, passion for STEM and fantastic payroll and HR software, we have found a partner that we are fully aligned with.”
Paycom supports a variety of nonprofits, including those that serve their communities by providing youth programming; science, technology, engineering and math education; programs for individuals living with disabilities; mental health treatment; and food support for individuals and children needing assistance.
