OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 29, 2020) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, donated $20,000 to Promise House and National Foster Parent Association to support at-risk youth and foster families’ needs, such as safety and shelter, around the country. According to federal data, at any given time, there are 430,000 children in foster care in the U.S.
“These organizations are making an impact on thousands of families,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs. “Whether it’s providing basic needs like food and shelter or advocating for families on a local and national level, our employees are proud to support their initiatives.”
The donations come as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, in which employees have the opportunity to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
“Promise House is grateful for the generous support from Paycom to ensure youth in our community receive the support they need to move from crisis to success,” said Stuart Williams, philanthropy director at Promise House. “Because of Paycom’s commitment to our work, we are able to provide shelter, food, counseling services and case management to hundreds of youth facing housing insecurity this year.”
Promise House’s mission is to help youth in crisis through crisis intervention, providing emergency shelter and long-term housing, case management and counseling services, education services, advocacy and outreach.
“The funds we receive will be used to continue our advocacy work to help foster parents effectively serve as mentors to the parents of the children who join their families through foster care to achieve safe and nurturing reunification as the goal for these families who have been separated due to abuse or neglect,” said Irene Clements, executive director of National Foster Parent Association.
National Foster Parent Association promotes and supports foster families through a variety of services. Their mission is to be a respected national voice for foster, kinship and adoptive families through networking, education and advocacy.
