Paycom employees help provide free lodging for cancer patients and caregivers

OKLAHOMA CITY – (Jan. 29, 2025) Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE: PAYC) (“Paycom”), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, recently donated $37,500 to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge communities in Oklahoma City and Dallas. These communities support individuals battling cancer and their caregivers by providing complimentary lodging and transportation near local treatment centers.

“Facilities like the American Cancer Society Chad Richison Hope Lodge are a beacon of hope for individuals and families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment,” said Amy Cook, senior director of operations at Paycom. “These resources not only alleviate stress but also remind those affected that they are not alone. I’m very proud of Paycom employees for their contributions to these vital organizations.”

Paycom’s donation supports the American Cancer Society Chad Richison Hope Lodge in Oklahoma City and the American Cancer Society Gene and Jerry Jones Family Hope Lodge in Dallas. This is the third year Paycom’s employee giving program has supported these facilities.

“The continued funding and support from Paycom’s employee giving program is instrumental in supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission,” said Jeff Fehlis, executive vice president at the American Cancer Society. “This collective commitment ensures that we are not only improving access to care for those living with cancer, but we’re working to end cancer as we know it for everyone. Together, we’re turning our shared vision into saving lives.”

The American Cancer Society Chad Richison Hope Lodge in Oklahoma City opened in August 2023, named in recognition of a $5 million gift from Chad Richison, Paycom founder and CEO. The facility offers three guest rooms located near treatment centers in the Oklahoma City area and, since opening, has provided over 20,000 nights of free lodging for over 1,600 people facing cancer and their caregivers. The free lodging at the Hope Lodge relieved guests of a combined $3 million in hotel costs.

In 2024, the Dallas Hope Lodge provided 24,993 nights of free lodging to more than 1,600 guests traveling for cancer treatment along with 2,052 rides to and from treatment and medical appointments.

The Paycom employee giving program supports a multitude of local and national causes, including youth programming, mental health treatment and programs for individuals living with disabilities. Paycom selects a wide range of nonprofits every year, allowing employees to donate to an organization that aligns with their values. Additionally, the company matches donations made through the employee giving program.
