OKLAHOMA CITY (June 15, 2020) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, donated $25,000 to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to assist with hunger relief efforts across the state.
Paycom and its employees provided $10,000 toward the overall gift by submitting donations through the Paycom mobile app in May as part of a year-round giving campaign. Paycom donated the remaining $15,000 to the Regional Food Bank for supplies at the organization’s Western Heights Public Schools food box distribution event in April.
“In these difficult times, the Regional Food Bank has seen an unprecedented rise in the need for food assistance across our network,” said Deb Bunting, interim CEO of the Regional Food Bank. “The support of Paycom and its generous employees is so important in ensuring residents in central and western Oklahoma have the access to nutritious food that they need.”
The donations come as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, in which employees have the opportunity to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
“We know a lot of people are struggling right now and our employees want to give back to their community,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of governmental and community affairs. “Food is such a basic need and we are always proud to support the Regional Food Bank and their efforts to fight hunger in our state.”
The Regional Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America network, is Oklahoma’s largest hunger-relief nonprofit. The majority of people served by the Regional Food Bank are chronically hungry children, seniors living on fixed incomes and hardworking families struggling to make ends meet.
