Paycom, a national leader in human capital management technology, made the Metro 50 list representing Central Oklahoma’s fastest-growing private companies for a record 11th-consecutive year. Paycom has been on the Metro 50 list for every year of eligibility and is the only company to garner the honor for 11 years. In addition to its No. 24 ranking, Paycom also received one-of-nine inaugural Metro 50 Sustainer Awards bestowed to the longest tenured companies on the list.
“To receive this recognition and be the longest tenured company on the top 50 fastest-growing companies in Oklahoma City is humbling and I couldn’t be more proud of this accomplishment,” Paycom Founder and CEO Chad Richison said. “I’m grateful to everyone within the Paycom organization and look forward to many more years of sustained growth.”
The Greater Oklahoma City area’s fastest-growing, privately owned companies for the year are ranked based on their percentage of revenue growth over the past two years. To qualify, companies must be for-profit, have been in business for three years and must have 2012 operating revenues or sales of at least $1 million.
Paycom was joined by eight other companies as Metro 50 Sustainers, an award bestowed upon organizations making the list seven or more times in the last ten years.
“Paycom, as well as eight others, are in an elite category,” said Rhonda Hooper, Vice Chair of Economic Development for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. “This year we inaugurate the Metro 50 Sustainers as a way to recognize companies that have continuously demonstrated growth. These established firms are among the reasons why Oklahoma City has seen economic growth and stability in the past several years.”
