OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 12, 2019) — Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, has again been recognized with an Employees’ Choice Award as one of Glassdoor’s 2020 Best Places to Work among large-sized U.S. companies.
“This honor is especially significant, considering it is based on the cumulative opinions of those who are and have been a part of the Paycom family,” said Paycom’s founder and CEO, Chad Richison. “Receiving this recognition is a testament to the culture we work hard to develop. We remain committed to fostering a workplace that’s attractive to today’s workforce, so we are continuously looking at new benefits to further enhance the employee experience.”
At No. 65 on this year’s list, Paycom is one of the top-ranked technology providers and the top-ranked Oklahoma company. The honor marks Paycom’s fifth appearance on the popular careers website’s annual list.
Currently, Paycom has an overall rating of 4.5 out of five stars on Glassdoor, while Richison boasts a CEO approval rating of 96%. Paycom employees enjoy numerous workplace perks and benefits, including social events; paid parental leave; an employee stock purchase program; $1 per-pay-period health insurance; a free, on-site gym with fitness classes; and subsidized lunches catered daily.
Now in its 12th year, the Employees’ Choice Awards program relies solely on the input of employees who elect to provide feedback on their satisfaction with the company overall, as well as with key workplace factors like career opportunities, compensation, benefits, work-life balance, senior management, culture and values.
“This year marks the shift to a culture-first decade in the workplace, and Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Awards winners are employers that are prioritizing culture, mission and employees at the heart of everything they do. By doing so, their employees have spoken and are recognizing them truly as the Best Places to Work in 2020,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor president, chief operating officer and incoming chief executive officer. “In addition to putting culture and mission at the core of how they operate, this year’s winners stand out for promoting transparency with employees, offering career growth opportunities and providing work driven by impact and purpose. Congratulations go to all of the exceptional employers this year who stand out in the eyes of their employees.”
Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work were determined using company reviews shared by employees between Oct. 23, 2018, and Oct. 21, 2019. To be considered for the U.S. large category, a company must have 1,000 or more employees and received at least 75 ratings across each of the eight workplace attributes from U.S.-based employees during the period of eligibility. The final list is compiled using Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, led by its economic research team, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
