OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 23, 2022) – Paycom Software Inc. (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented a $15,000 donation to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to help provide thousands of meals in the region. Paycom also presented a $10,000 check to the Tarrant Area Food Bank near Paycom’s operations center in Grapevine, Texas, and $15,000 to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.
September is Hunger Action Month, Feeding America’s nationwide campaign for mobilizing communities to act on the issue of hunger. To combat hunger, Paycom team members volunteered this month at the Regional Food Bank and the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
“The Regional Food Bank is incredibly grateful for the generosity of Paycom and its employees who have made an impact in the fight against hunger both financially and by donating their time to volunteer,” said Stacy Dykstra, CEO of the Regional Food Bank. “This donation alone will help provide nutritious meals to thousands of Oklahomans.”
Since 1980, the Regional Food Bank has led the fight against hunger in central and western Oklahoma. The organization distributes food through a network of more than 1,300 community-based partner agencies, schools and community organizations in 53 counties in central and western Oklahoma.
The Tarrant Area Food Bank is the main source of donated food for hunger-relief programs across the 13 counties it serves in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
“Food is a basic human need, and we are pleased to partner with both of these food banks to ensure our communities have that need met,” said AJ Griffin, director of community and government affairs at Paycom. “Our employee giving program allows our Paycom team members to support organizations making a difference in our state and across the nation. We know this month’s contribution will make tomorrow better for so many.”
The Regional Food Bank and Feeding America donations were made through Paycom’s ongoing employee giving campaign, in which team members can donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities. The gift to the Tarrant Area Food Bank was provided by Paycom’s corporate giving program.
