Paycom earns spot on prestigious Forbes top employer list

OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 13, 2025) — Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE: PAYC) (“Paycom”), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, earned a place on Forbes’ America’s Best Large Employers 2025 list. The ranking celebrates organizations across the nation demonstrating an outstanding commitment to fostering environments where employees can thrive.

“We are committed to client success across our employee base, which creates a culture of drive, excellence and automation,” said Chad Richison, Paycom founder and CEO. “These are characteristics that make us one of the most mission-driven companies in the world.”

Employees at Paycom receive benefits and perks, including $1-per-pay-period individual health insurance, on-site fitness centers, a comprehensive well-being program, $4 catered lunch options, soundproof privacy booths for virtual appointments, green spaces and more. Employees also experience professional development opportunities like leadership and role-based training programs.

“As Paycom fulfills our purpose to simplify life for employees around the world, we strive to uplift the talented people making it happen,” said Tiffany McGowen, Paycom’s senior executive vice president of human resources and talent acquisition. “Our people are our greatest asset, and it’s important to meet their holistic needs and foster both personal and professional growth.”

Since its founding in 1998, Paycom has established itself as a prominent and attractive employer in the technology space with over 7,000 employees servicing companies across the nation. This recognition follows Paycom’s inclusion on several prestigious lists, such as America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity by Newsweek, America’s Best Employers for Tech Workers by Forbes and World’s Best Companies by TIME.

Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best Employers 2025 through an independent survey from a vast sample of over 217,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the U.S. Over 6.5 million employer evaluations were considered. The final score is based on two types of evaluations: personal (those given by employees themselves) and public (those given by friends and family members of employees or members of the public who work in the same industry), with a much higher weighting for personal evaluations.
