Pacyom’s training and communication supervisor, Lauren Ferguson, was named to IonOklahoma’s 2015 class of 30 Under 30, honoring the next generation of innovative, creative and inspiring individuals who push boundaries in all areas: arts, entertainment, business, technology and more.
As a 30 Under 30 honoree, Ferguson was recognized at the awards banquet on Oct. 15 and will be profiled in IonOklahoma Online.
“It is an honor to be selected among an outstanding group of professionals,” Ferguson said. “I am proud to represent a company like Paycom, with endless opportunity and amazing leadership. But I am most thankful for the opportunity to represent Stand in the Gap, a ministry near and dear to my heart.”
A graduate from the University of Oklahoma, Ferguson joined Paycom in 2013 as a corporate trainer and launched Paycom’s Employee Certification Program. Within a year, Ferguson was promoted to training team leader, growing her team by more than double and launching a communication team. Shortly thereafter, Ferguson accepted the position as the training and communication supervisor.
Ferguson has taken Paycom’s ongoing leadership and development program to new heights. Ferguson leads a team of 13, who together create new initiatives that keep Paycom’s training program competitive.
In her spare time, Ferguson is an active volunteer with Stand in the Gap prison ministries, mentoring in-prisoned women. As a community leader, she also is a part of the leadership team at Crossing Community Church where she serves as the Young Adult Connection Coordinator, helping young adults get involved with the church.
Ferguson is a native Virginian, where she spent most of her life. Today, she resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, Lincoln.
