We interviewed one of our product analyst team leaders, Mark, to learn more about his Paycom journey.
Describe what you do.
I am a product analyst team leader. My team analyzes the system, looking for areas of improvement, and submits feedback requests while following the process from idea to development by working closely with all of the teams involved in this process.
What is your favorite thing about your team?
My favorite thing about my team is that we all get along with each other at work and outside of work.
What advice would you give a new employee for being successful at Paycom?
My one word to be successful would be patience — Paycom moves really fast. Take the time to learn and share your knowledge freely.
What’s the one word you would choose to describe Paycom, and why?
One word to describe Paycom: persistent. Paycom is constantly striving to be better, easier and more efficient!
What is your greatest accomplishment at Paycom?
My greatest accomplishment are the relationships that I have built over the years through all of the different departments at Paycom and knowing that anyone can come to me for answers.
What makes you proud to work at Paycom?
The people make me proud to work at Paycom. I have made some really good friends through Paycom.
What are some of your favorite hobbies outside work?
My favorite hobby is golf. I am always looking for a game, and I just enjoy being outside, whether on the golf course or at the lake.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I could eat tacos the rest of my life! There are so many types of tacos: beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, fish, breakfast and even dessert tacos. The toppings that you could place on your tacos are endless!
